Tax Certificate Sale Workshop - Fort Walton Beach

The Okaloosa County Tax Collector’s Office is pleased to announce that we will once again be hosting workshops for the upcoming 2015 Tax Certificate Sale. Tax Collector Ben Anderson says, "Representatives from the Tax Department will be educating citizens on the annual Tax Certificate Sale where winning bidders can earn between 5% - 18% interest." He continues, "These workshops are a great place for us to share valuable information about the Sale."

Potential investors can long on to www.BidOkaloosa.com to take full advantage of the demonstrations, procedural information, links to public records and the Delinquiet Tax advertising list.  Bidders can also pre-register on the site before the actual event begins.  Bidding will open on May 9, 2015 and the sale will conclude on May 23, 2015.

The required published advertisement of delinquent parcels appears in the Crestview News Bulletin May 9, 16, and 23, 2015 editions.  Copies will be available at all Okaloosa County Tax Collector Office locations.  The list will also be available at www.OkaloosaTax.com.

Delinquent taxpayers have until 3:00 pm Friday, May 29, 2015 to make payment on their account or a certiricate will be sold May 30,l 2015.  Payment must be made by cash, cashier's check, money-order or by credit card.
