The Arts and Design Society will host the annual Van Porter Student Art Show March 4-March 15. The exhibit showcases outstanding 8th grade and 12th grade art work. The Opening Reception will be Thursday, March 7, 5 pm-7 pm. The public is invited to help support upcoming young artists by attending the Opening Reception or by visiting the Art Center Gallery at 17 First Street, SE, Fort Walton Beach. Admission to the reception and Gallery is free. The Gallery is open 12 noon-4 p.m., Tuesday-Friday, and from 1 pm - 4 pm, Saturday.
