The Veterans Tribute Tower Committee is pleased to host the Veterans Day Celebration Ceremony at Beal Memorial Cemetery on Monday, November 12, 2018, beginning at 11 a.m. at the Beal Cemetery Tower Green. Guest speaker for the Ceremony is Lt General Brad Webb, Commanding General, Air Force Special Operations Command, Hurlburt Field, Florida. Joining General Webb will be Military Members and their families from the United Kingdom currently stationed at Eglin Air Force Base, who will be celebrating their traditional Remembrance Day Recognition of the Armistice of World War One. Participating in the joint ceremony will be their Commanding Officer, Royal Navy Commander, Gregory Smith from Great Britain. Guests are requested to bring small to present floral bouquets that will help create the Community Wreath at the base of the flagpole during the ceremony. Flowers will then be presented to residents at Hawthorn House and the Air Force Enlisted Village at the conclusion of the ceremony for their enjoyment. Names of Veterans to be remembered will be read on Memorial Day 2019.
