The VPK & Kindergarten Family Movie event is designed to bring families together in a fun, relaxed setting while promoting early childhood education. Families are invited to pre-register to celebrate their child's educational success and enjoy a family outing in one day! Community partners, The Okaloosa Public School Foundation, Okaloosa County School District and the Early Learning Coalition of the Emerald Coast present, "Charlie the Wonderdog" at Regal Cinema in Mary Esther. Doors open at 1:30 pm with movies starting at 2:00 pm and 2:15 pm. Registration information for VPK and Kindergarten in Okaloosa County will be available! This event is open to families with children registering for kindergarten or VPK for the 2026-2027 school year. - Group size max is 3 people - Limited seating available (First-come, first-served) - Free matinee movie - Free children's snack pack - Goody bag, Educational Resources, Children's Books and more!
