    You are cordially invited to join WomenConnect on Wed, March 27, from noon to 1:00 p.m., at the Greater Fort Walton Beach Chamber of Commerce, for an insightful session on the topic of scams and frauds, tailored specifically for women. As part of our ongoing commitment to empowering and educating our community, this event will provide valuable information and resources to help you protect yourself against deceptive practices.
     
    We will welcome Ashley Bailey, Crime Prevention, Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office. She’ll share her expertise, insights, and practical tips on recognizing, avoiding, and responding to various types of scams targeting women. Topics of discussion will include:
    • Common scams and fraud schemes
    • Red flags to watch out for in emails, phone calls, and online interactions
    • Strategies for safeguarding personal and financial information
    • Resources and support available for victims of fraud
