Program details:
Free Training for Shelter/Rescue Dogs at Risk of Owner Surrender
In the past three years, we’ve helped over 250 dogs – whose owners were at their wit’s end – stay happily in their homes with science-based, positive reinforcement training. One of those dogs needed 20 hours!
Bite Prevention/Responsible Pet Ownership for Children
Over 1,700 children have attended our class on how to stay safe around dogs and have the best relationship with their own! The fun learning includes dog toy crafts, baking dog treats, my illustrated book and meeting an adorable therapy dog. It helps prevent the not-so-fun. Over 2 million U.S. children are bitten by dogs every year – usually the family's dog or a neighbor’s.
Free Training for Shelter/Rescue Workers
From workshops with certified animal behaviorists to battling compassion fatigue, we help exhausted and overwhelmed workers find the best match for each dog without burning themselves out.
