About
The Pensacola Blue Wahoos are a Minor League Baseball Team who are a Double-A affiliate of the Miami Marlins. Our motto is to create memorable experiences. The Blue Wahoos play their home games at Blue Wahoos Stadium, located in Community Maritime Park in downtown Pensacola. Opened in 2012, the stadium sits directly along Pensacola Bay and provides fans with one of the most unique views in professional baseball. The stadium has a stated capacity of 5,038 fans and has averaged more than 4,000 fans per season since opening. It has also been recognized multiple times as one of the premier ballparks in Minor League Baseball. More than 200 events are held at the stadium annually, including youth sports, college athletics, concerts, community events, festivals and other entertainment experiences. Perhaps the most important part of the Blue Wahoos' identity is their connection to the Pensacola community. The organization uses its stadium and platform to support local businesses, nonprofits, schools, youth sports, military organizations and community initiatives. The ballpark was specifically designed to serve as a community gathering place—not simply a venue used for baseball games. The Blue Wahoos have become an important part of the Pensacola lifestyle and entertainment landscape. The combination of professional baseball, the waterfront setting, family entertainment, community involvement and local business partnerships gives the organization a unique position in Northwest Florida.
