A local healthcare provider and nonprofit founder created a new way for the community to support healing while uplifting women entrepreneurs

FORT WALTON BEACH, FL — [Insert Date] — Local nurse practitioner, nonprofit founder, and community advocate Dr. Amanda Davis, DNP, FNP-C, has launched Woven Resilience, a purpose-driven online marketplace designed to support women-owned businesses while creating sustainable community impact through Emerald Coast Victim Services.
Created as an innovative partnership model between business and mission-driven giving, Woven Resilience connects shoppers with handcrafted goods, wellness products, and curated offerings from women entrepreneurs—while helping support survivor-centered programming, education, and wellness initiatives in the local community.
“As both a healthcare provider and nonprofit founder, I’ve seen firsthand that healing doesn’t stop after crisis intervention,” said Davis. “Woven Resilience was created as a way to bring business and community impact together—supporting women entrepreneurs while helping expand access to restorative resources for those navigating difficult life experiences.”
Unlike traditional fundraising efforts, Woven Resilience was designed as a sustainable community collaboration model, allowing participating vendors to give back through mission-based partnerships while growing their own visibility and reach.
The initiative reflects Davis’ broader vision of blending healthcare, advocacy, entrepreneurship, and long-term community wellness.
Through Emerald Coast Victim Services, proceeds help support initiatives such as:
- survivor wellness and empowerment resources
- community education and prevention programming
- advocacy support initiatives
- healthcare-informed restorative services
- development of the SAFEPath™ Preceptorship, a forensic nursing education initiative
Woven Resilience also creates opportunities for local women-owned businesses to participate in a meaningful giving model that aligns commerce with purpose.
“This is about building something bigger than a store,” Davis added. “It’s about creating a network of women supporting women, strengthening businesses, and investing in healing-centered community work.”
