New Hire Announcement for Radiance Technologies Shalimar Location
Jaime "Buster" Hernandez is the Director of the Test and Evaluation Division at Radiance Technologies. Responsible for developing and growing the company’s presence and brand in the Eglin Air Force Base area, Busters serves as the site lead for the Shalimar, FL office and as the primary interface with the local community. He ensures the successful completion of all aspects of program execution, customer interface, technical performance, financial plans/costs, and personnel development.
A retired Air Force Colonel with over 24 years of service, Buster deployed seven times to various locations in support of Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom. He started his Air Force career at the United States Air Force Academy, where he graduated in 1998. After graduating, he attended Undergraduate Navigator Training and Electronic Warfare School at Naval Air Station Pensacola. Buster was then assigned to the B-1B Bomber, accumulating over 3,000 hours of flight time and 1,300 hours of combat time. A Distinguished Graduate of the US Air Force Weapons School, he commanded at both the squadron and group level. His final assignment was as the 753d Test & Evaluation Group Commander at Eglin AFB, where he was responsible for the operational test of Air Force bomber and Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance aircraft.
Buster is originally from Las Vegas, NV, and now resides in Niceville with his wife and two sons.
